Developing a Modern Website for Private GP Practice in Birmingham
Improving conversion rates and loading time for Midland Health
How It Started
We started working with Midland Health at the beginning of its journey. Since then, we’ve had a global pandemic which changed the business in a very quick way.
During the pandemic, we supported Midland Health to adapt online with different functionality over this period. Our website support and development heavily involved COVID testing. On the website, we first added online COVID tests, followed by an admin system to manage the bookings from customers to the laboratory. Helping Midland Health increase efficiency and reduce errors was our main objective during this time.
New Web Design for the GP Practice
During the COVID period, the content on the site changed quickly. The site’s design didn’t represent Midland Health as needed. The website needed to focus more on mobile devices and improve booking conversion rates.
We worked with Bradley Layton Design for the web design process. They used the existing branding and content on the website to improve the user experience.
Once we built the website to the design, we began the pre-live checks. We wanted to avoid the loss of the existing SEO ranking of the website. This was guided by the fantastic team at Avid Panda, the best SEO company in Birmingham.
To minimise any potential issues, the new website was put live during the night. The new website offers faster load times, improved conversion rates and is easier for content to be managed.
